Hi,
its been a busy time, and a long time since i posted. I have been busy with far too many things.
1) Leap
2) Samba Masala
3) School
1) I have stopped work with Leap for a while as I cannot handle in conjunction with school work. The nature of the work they delegate to me.. So ad hoc, so last minute.. Siao ah.. No way i'll do it.
2) Samba has been great, its always great to enjoy the music. However, some things to note. Ears are spoilt, clearly. Nothing seems to be too loud now. Die... Also, hands have stop hurting since.. Some time ago.. I was drumming on my calf randomly, one day. *Barravento groove* Ouch... my leg hurt leh?!?!?!? hahaha.. repinique training is cool, we learn to play with sticks and hand, with whistle blowing etc. Funniest memory, at previous repi prac when we were learning whistling at the right timing and I couldnt get it, I ACTUALLY GOT ANGRY. hahaha i think i was being impatient with myself for not getting it.. OH WELL. Its been too long since I raged anyway. Sorry to anyone on the receiving end!!! xD Band dynamics are changing. I'll always be amazed by Agurz, cuz he is one in a million old man with a young kid inside and a heart of gold. Steady, funny, sharp. He epitomises why I think people who take longer routes did not "waste time", but rather each has a different lesson to learn. All these experiences shape us to be, us. Looking forward to learning more about the different layers in people around me, as well as the occurrence of some coconuts(hollow inside) maybe?
3) School has been insane. 2 Exam semesters with 4.5 modules are not funny. The amount of reports etc... sigh. Here I am blogging about it. Besides that, in class, some people simply stand out more.. Why is that?! Still trying to figure it out....
